Gov. Greg Abbott has made his thoughts clear about the Pentagon s increased vetting of National Guard members ahead of President-elect Joe Biden s inauguration on Wednesday.
According to the Washington Post s Missy Ryan, the federal government is screening the more than 21,000 National Guard troops stationed in Washington D.C. as part of increased security during the presidential inauguration. This news after reports of an Army reservist with security-level clearance being among the attacks that stormed the Capitol on January 6.
