Boulder Chamber adds to Community Affairs Council – BizWest

BOULDER The Boulder Chamber has named seven community leaders representing local businesses and nonprofit organizations to its Community Affairs Council. The new cohort joins 39 returning CAC members who help advise on the Boulder Chamber’s positions regarding local and state policy issues including housing, high-speed internet access, workforce transportation solutions and commercial development regulations that affect Boulder’s regional economic vitality. Indiana Members Credit Union collects truckloads of toys and over $730 for U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program INDIANAPOLIS, IN (January 21, 2021) Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), Central Indiana’s largest credit union, collected truckloads of toys and over $730 in donations from members, employees and the community for the 2020 U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. IMCU has once again partnered with CBS4 and served as a presenting sponsor for the Toys for Tots Program. The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community. The primary goal is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to kids across Central Indiana that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.

A Senior student is selected each month by members of EAWR faculty. Each student is awarded a certificate and a Subway gift card. The Seniors selected each month will have the opportunity to compete for a $1,000.00 “Oiler of the Year” scholarship at the end of the school year. December’s winner is Evan Merritt. Evan is a Senior at EAWR and is involved with basketball, Track & Field and Cross Country. Evan is a part of the National Honor Society as well as being on the High Honor Roll for his outstanding grades.

Indiana Members Credit Union announces new scholarship Schools Brief Indiana Members Credit Union announces new scholarship at Indiana University Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU) announces it is establishing the Kenneth A. Beckley Scholarship at the Media School at Indiana University in honor of its longtime board member. Beckley has been part of IMCU’s volunteer board for 19 years, serving on various committees and sharing his expertise in marketing and strategic planning. Beckley served as the IMCU spokesperson for many years, appearing in commercials throughout the Central Indiana market through 2014. “Ken Beckley has been instrumental in the development of Indiana Members Credit Union over the years,” said Bob Martin, IMCU board chairman.
