Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe (WHO/Europe) Hans Kluge discussed support for Ukraine in countering the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the meeting also discussed access to effective, high-quality and safe vaccines.
“The renewed two-year program of cooperation between the WHO Regional Office for Europe and Ukraine opens up new opportunities for attracting international support to overcome the coronavirus epidemic in our country. I highly appreciate that the bureau has identified the implementation of the program as one of its priorities and has already begun practical work. We strive to maximize the potential of WHO for the prevention, treatment and early vaccination of the population against COVID-19,” Kuleba said.
