7,155 out of 95,723 martyred in IIOJK extra judicially
Srinagar, January 14, 2021 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, out of 95,723 innocent Kashmiris, martyred by Indian troops since January 1989, 7,155 of them have been killed in fake encounters or in custody. According to a report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, the killing of six innocent youth by the troops in Srinagar and Shopian fake encounters was the latest example, while in the past the troops had staged many such encounters including the Pathribal fake encounter of 2000 and Machil fake encounter of 2010.
As many as 36 youth were killed by the troops in custody and fake encounters, since August 5, 2019, when Modi regime abrogated Kashmir’s special status.
