Tragos/Thesz Hall of Fame announces 2021 induction class );
WATERLOO, Iowa – The National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum announced on December 31, 2020 that it has finalized the Class of 2021 for the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame induction weekend, which will be held on July 15-17.
The Class of 2021 is Adnan Al-Kassie (Living Inductee), Don Kernodle (Living Inductee), Earl Wampler (Posthumous Inductee), Trish Stratus (Lou Thesz World Heavyweight Championship Award), Mark Henry (Frank Gotch Award), and Ken Shamrock (George Tragos Award). The Gordon Solie Award will be presented for the first time in 2021. The recipient of the Jim Melby Award will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

Match 1: Chris Jericho and MJF vs Top Flight
Darius and Jericho to start. Jericho mushes the face, so Darius fights back into the corner. Jericho chops him back, getting him into the corner, and hitting a right hand to the face. Whip to Darius, Jericho ducks under, Darius rolls out, eats a boot, hops over then hits an enziguri to Jericho. They each get a right hand to Jericho. Tag and they trip Jericho, flip over him, kick the chest and the back at the same time, cover to Jericho but doesn’t even et a 1. Tag to MJF. He stomps Dante in the corner. Lockup in the middle of the ring. MJF gets Dante in the corner. Slap to the face. Dante returns one. K

This week on AEW s Holiday Bash, Sting speaks with Tony Schiavone. The Inner Circle s Chris Jericho & MJF face Top Flight. “The Bastard” PAC battles The Butcher. AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida is in action. Jurassic Express take on Dark Order in a six-person tag team match. Dustin Rhodes goes up against Evil Uno. And in the main event, The Young Bucks defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Acclaimed.
Ring of Honor closed the year with their flagship PPV in
Final Battle. The event featured four title fights and set the table for a showdown between Los Ingobernables and the Foundation.
Let’s run it down from top to bottom.
ROH World Championship: Rush retained against Brody King. It was a battle of raw aggression versus raw power. Rush was in charge early with battering blows, then King turned the tide with a suicide dive. King made the fight ugly by slamming Rush on top of a pile of chairs then following with a running senton. Commentary put it over as King taking a page from Rush’s playbook to beat him at his own game.
