Earlier this week, the World Flying Disc Federation released the latest ruleset for ultimate. These rule changes were originally proposed in June, since then some minor changes were made and the new ruleset goes into effect on January 1, 2021, and will be used through 2024. The WFDF website has a lot of resources on the new rules, including a video on the main changes as well as a full tracked changes document showing alterations from the 2017 rules edition. FIAS joins United Nations Alliance of Civilizations campaign Tuesday, 22 December 2020
The International Sambo Federation (FIAS) has signed up to the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) One Humanity campaign.
The FIAS has joined the Global Association of International Sports Federations and a number of International Federations in signing up for the campaign, which calls for solidarity, compassion and unity in the face of discrimination and division.
It has been launched by UNAOC, which works to achieve a number of sustainable development goals including no poverty, zero hunger, reduced inequalities, good health and well-being, and peace, justice and strong institutions.
Through the campaign, the FIAS will demonstrate its commitment to a peaceful and inclusive society through a series of initiatives, and video messages.

The World Flying Disc Federation announced the results of its 2020 elections this week. Representatives from WFDF Member Associations voted on seven positions on the Board of Directors, two Continental Representatives, and three positions on the Ultimate Committee.
Robert “Nob” Rauch will serve another two-year term as President. On the Ultimate Committee, Will Deaver was elected Deputy Chair, Simon Hill was elected Championships Sub-Committee Chair, and Rueben Berg was elected Rules Subcommittee Chair.
Rauch becomes the longest-tenured WFDF President for a continuous period, having held the position since 2011. He also served as WFDF President from 1992 to 1994.
