Actress Mischa Barton has blamed “general bullying” behind the scenes of The O.C. for her exit from the hit teen drama.
Barton played Marissa Cooper for three seasons on the popular TV series, which catapulted her and her co-stars, Rachel Bilson, Adam Brody, and Ben McKenzie, to fame, but her time on set wasn’t the best experience, because there were times when she felt “very unprotected.”
