FAU-G (Fearless and United Guards) was expected to be released by nCore games around the period of New Year. FAU-G is expected to fill the void left by the ban on PUBG Mobile India by the Government of India. FAU-G is expected to be based on real-life incidents in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh where India and China’s armies were involved in a tense face-off. FAU-G is expected to be an action game and not a battle royale mode like PUBG Mobile India. Brands warm up to gaming apps leading to surge in ad revenues
The surge in usage across genders has led to freemium apps such as World Cricket Championship (WCC), Super Ludo, and Indian Gaming League (IGL) witnessing 20-50% jump in ad revenues.

With people spending more time indoors and using gaming to beat stress, online gaming platforms are becoming an attractive avenue for brands to advertise.
According to the mobile app market intelligence firm Sensor Tower, India topped the global market in terms of game downloads with Indians installing 7.3 billion games, nearly 17% of worldwide downloads between January and September this year. The growth in the sector has also prompted the government to suggest a self-regulatory body for gaming and advertising code for platforms.
Not PUBG, THIS game won the best game of 2020 award

Updated: Dec 21, 2020, 02:13 PM IST Legends of Runeterra the free-to-play card game took the Game of the year 2020 Award leaving behind many popular and expected-to-win mobile games, during the Awards announced on Sunday night.
The game, which is published and developed by Riot Games, was released in April this year.
The one-on-one card game has four playing cards at the beginning of the game. Before, the game starts both the players get a chance to trade out any one of those four cards.
