DT World to offer customs reform program to Ukraine – President s Office 2 min read
DT World (the UAE) will offer the Ukrainian side a roadmap for reforming, modernizing Ukrainian customs, simplifying, accelerating and improving its work, according to a Tuesday posting on the website of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
The relevant proposal was made by DT World Chief Operating Officer Mahmood Al Bastaki during a meeting in the President s Office dedicated to the reform of the Ukrainian customs.
In turn, Deputy Head of the President s Office Yulia Svyrydenko suggested focusing on the development of a roadmap in order to submit it to the senior leaders.

Singapore’s Minister of Trade introduced the latest plans to transform his country into a regional and global e-commerce hub.
The plans include strengthening digital infrastructure, such as by expanding the 5G network in addition to expanding the digitalization of SMEs.
Singapore has long been the pre-eminent destination for multinational tech companies to establish their regional headquarters.
Many companies choose Singapore for its investor-friendly tax and legal regime, enabling them to focus on regional expansion.

Pegged at $215 billion, and growing at a compounded annual growth rate of 10.5%, India’s supply chain is marred by an unbalanced logistics modal mix, high indirect costs, poor infrastructure, fragmented networks, and lack of technology adoption, notes a new report jointly published by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Arthur D Little.
While the Covid-19 pandemic has led to faster adoption of technology, it has also aggravated these supply chain issues. Consider this. Nearly 75% of companies worldwide are experiencing disruptions with most companies, unfortunately, not having any contingency plan to deal with this situation.
