Bendcares Columbus Platform Awarded Innovative Research Grant by American College of Rheumatologys Rheumatology Research Foundation

Posted on 8763 The American College of Rheumatology’s (ACR) Rheumatology Research Foundation (RRF) has awarded the Bendcare LLC Columbus Division a research grant to support their project Telehealth-delivered Healthcare to Improve Care (THRIVE) in Community-Practice Rheumatology. Drs. Swamy Venuturupalli, Jeffrey Curtis, Ben Nowell, and other collaborators at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and the Global Healthy Living Foundation are scientifically leading the project. Bendcare’s Columbus platform is being utilized due to its reputation as one of the largest, most comprehensive data sources in rheumatology, with data on more than 3,200,000 unique patients. December 28, 2020 to bring you this special report. Ten years ago, Erin Boyle learned the hard way how serious her migraine attacks could be. The 41-year-old medical writer and editor (then in her early 30s) had a severe days-long migraine, tried to push through it, and ended up passing out in the middle of her former office.
