The New York-based Kreidich will lead ADA’s expanding global footprint and partnerships across international commerce and marketing, along with label/product management and operations, while reporting to Warner Music Group president of independent music & creator services Eliah Seton. A veteran of the music business, Kreidich most recently spent a year-and-a-half at Sony Music Entertainment as senior vp, commerce for legacy recordings, where she oversaw commercial activity for a $900 million group across digital and physical for artists including Mariah Carey, Billy Joel and Bob Dylan. While there, she helped restructure the department to better capitalize on the rapidly-expanding world of streaming, executing successful campaigns for Michael Jackson, Alicia Keys, Travis Scott and Bruce Springsteen.

The music industry has been keen to increase prices for some time, saying it could help artists earn more money. But Spotify told MPs it was wary of tweaking its monthly £9.99 subscription fee, which hasn t changed in a decade. If music becomes unaffordable to consumers , warned chief legal officer Horacio Gutierrez, it could end up pushing them back into online piracy .
