The project will establish a subsea tieback development scheme for the Ballymore field, which sits in Mississippi Canyon Block 607 in a water depth of 2,006 m (6,581 ft). The tieback will provide access to Ballymore reserves. We are supporting both the subsea and topsides designs. We will also provide procurement services for the topsides scope of work. We are familiar with this specific production facility because we have provided a variety of brownfield support services to it for more than a decade.

April 21, 2021 A joint venture between SABIC and Plastic Energy has awarded Worley the engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) contract for a new advanced plastics unit. The SABIC Plastic Energy Advanced Recycling unit, located in Geleen, the Netherlands, will leverage Plastic Energy’s patented recycling technology to transform plastics waste destined for incineration or landfill into recycled oils. These will then be used by SABIC to upscale production of certified circular polymers. Worley will execute the EPCM contract through its UK and Dutch offices with support from its Global Integrated Delivery team in India. The term of the contract is two years.

Ballymore is located in the Mississippi Canyon area of the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, approximately three miles from Chevron’s Blind Faith platform, in a water depth of 6,536 feet. Chevron made the discovery back in January 2018.
