Two conservative Tennessee pastors were among the throngs of people gathered Wednesday in Washington, D.C. when a pro-President Donald Trump mob stormed the U.S. Capitol, disrupting Congress while the certification of Joe Biden as the country s next commander in chief was underway.
Pastor Steve Berger, who leads Grace Chapel in Williamson County, and Pastor Greg Locke, of Global Vision Bible Church in Wilson County, denounced the riot that shocked the nation and the watching world, but they repeated unsubstantiated claims that supporters of the antifascist protest movement, Antifa, were the instigators. I m all for peaceful protests, Berger said in a Wednesday night Facebook live video. Peaceful protests: yes; violence: no. There s no reason for it.

Religious Leaders Urge Americans to Join ‘Good Versus Evil’ Battle
WASHINGTON Pastor Brian Gibson joined a bevy of religious leaders and thousands of rallygoers in Washington on Dec. 12 to petition the government for fair elections and to show support for the president.
“I believe the wicked men have stolen the American election, and patriots and the people of God are going to rise up,” Gibson told The Epoch Times.
“This is totally a ‘We the People’ moment. And I’m telling you, if American men don’t start acting like American men, we’re going to have to live our lives like Chinese men under communist control. So it’s a pivotal moment. It’s good versus evil. And it’s not Republican versus Democrat. It’s American versus communist.”

Popular evangelical Bible teacher Beth Moore is drawing both flak and praise after delivering a stern warning to Christians against Trumpism, which she called “astonishingly seductive & dangerous.”
“I do not believe these are days for mincing words. I’m 63 1/2 years old & I have never seen anything in these United States of America I found more astonishingly seductive & dangerous to the saints of God than Trumpism. This Christian nationalism is not of God. Move back from it,” the author and founder of Living Proof Ministries began Sunday in a tweet which has since gone viral with more than 144,000 likes as of Tuesday morning.
In conversation with CNN s Ellie Reed broadcast on Thursday, Pastor Greg Locke of Global Vision Bible Church in Mount Juliet, Tennessee exploded when asked his position on the COVID-19 vaccine, denying that there even was a pandemic at all. Faith over fear. I ain t worried about some fake pandemic, said Locke, a pro-Trump preacher who has previously drawn controversy for claiming that history classes in public schools are part of an Islamic invasion. I m not saying the sickness isn t real. I m saying the pandemic is not. I don t understand what you mean when you say the pandemic is not real, said Reed. What do you think a pandemic is?
