Before joining Impact, Williams was an intern at Crestview Strategy’s Toronto office, where she was assigned to digital campaigns and mobilization. She was a member of the student council at Western University and graduated last year with a major in political science.
“Williams is a proud First Nations woman who has worked in Indigenous relations and communications while in university,” Impact said.
Also joining Impact is Ben Howe as a senior consultant. Howe spent more than five years working on the Hill as an executive and legislative assistant for Liberal MP Neil Ellis. During this time, Ellis was chair of the standing committee for Veterans Affairs, as well as parliamentary secretary to the minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.

Montreal-based scent-detection-technology company Stratuscent Inc. is seeking assistance from Technofinance Inc.’s Denis Dumas to help it access an Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada program to improve the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the agriculture sector. According to its website, Stratuscent Inc. is a digital nose that “can detect individual chemicals, chemical mixtures, and everyday odours with incredible accuracy.”
Meanwhile, the U.S. Grains Council wants to engage the government on reducing transportation-sector emissions, as well as the development of Clean Fuel Standard regulations, and has hired Kate Mah of PAA Public Affairs Advisors Inc. to help.
