ESAB launch new welding range Rogue 12 March 2021 | ESAB s initial launch includes four Rogue ES models ESAB Welding & Cutting Products has launched Rogue, its new series of portable and affordable MMA/Lift TIG inverters with professional arc performance and controls such as adjustable hot start and adjustable arc force. These units measure 343 x 153 x 264 mm and feature ESAB’s next-level control technology to produce a smooth welding arc with all types of MMA electrodes. The Lift TIG (DC TIG) function provides positive arc starts without the use of high frequency. All Rogue models deliver a stable TIG arc down to 10 amps, giving welders the control they need to work on thin metal or delicate components.

March 2021 Artificial Intelligence improves casting quality: Condals cuts scrap by 45% Spanish foundry group Condals has seen its scrap rates drop significantly after adopting DISA’s Monitizer® digital solution. Scrap rates dropped by 39% and 45% for two patterns during production testing with the Monitizer | PRESCRIBE optimisation tool. During the project, Condals first upgraded its Monitizer | CIM installation, then deployed Monitizer | GLOBAL to collect and monitor live process data from equipment – DISA and non-DISA – on all three of its casting lines.
