PM Modi Launches Light House Projects In 6 States; Says country Took Innovative Approach
PM Modi virtually laid the foundation stone of Light House Projects in six states under the Global Housing Technology Challenge (GHTC) -India.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, January 1, virtually laid the foundation stone of Light House Projects (LHP) in six states under the Global Housing Technology Challenge (GHTC) - India. The project, conceptualised by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, aims to identify several innovative technologies from across the world which are sustainable and disaster-resilient.
LHPs will be constructed at Indore, Rajkot, Chennai, Ranchi, Agartala & Lucknow, comprising about 1,000 houses at each location along with allied infrastructure facilities

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that the government will complete construction of houses by 2022 and provide houses to all eligible persons without fail. He made the remarks after Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the annual PMAY (Urban), Asha India awards during a video conference to lay the foundation stone for six lighthouse projects under GHTC (Global Housing Technology Challenge) -India and distribution of PMAY- urban and ASHA - India awards virtually here on Friday in which Reddy and other Chief Ministers participated.
