The Government approved on Thursday a new humanitarian aid package, free by nature, for the Republic of Moldova in view of managing the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to a release of the Health Ministry, sent to AGERPRES, the humanitarian aid consists of granting 100,800 doses of COVID-19 vaccine acquired by the Health Ministry as part of the National Vaccination program and delivered by AstraZeneca.
The transport of the 100,800 doses to the Republic of Moldova will be provided by the specialized structures of the Internal Affairs Ministry (MAI), namely the Department for Emergency Situations, through the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, from the budget of the Civil Protection Mechanism of the EU, in agreement with legal provision, Agerpres informs..
