The new rules for hairdressers when they reopen tomorrow
Lockdown measures have started to ease, but what does that mean for salons?
What hairdressers and beauty salons will look like after lockdown
Hair and beauty salons have been given the green light to open from tomorrow, April 12, as confirmed by the Prime Minister on April 5. In new guidance, it has been revealed that salons will be permitted to provide hot or cold drinks to clients in disposable cups or bottles, however practitioners have been encouraged to allow clients to only remove their mask to consume drinks.
While visits to salons may start to feel a little more like older times after the easing of lockdown 3.0 this week, hair and beauty practitioners have been instructed to ensure they are socially distanced from clients (2m, or 1m+ with mitigations), while clients masks are removed.
