Uzbekistan resumes flights to Issyk-Kul AKIPRESS.COM - Issyk-Kul International Airport will receive the first flight from Tashkent this summer on July 11. Flights will be operated by Uzbekistan Airways en route from Tashkent to Tamchi and then back to Tashkent on Sundays. The duration of flight will make 1.5 hours. The flights from Tashkent to Issyk-Kul are made since July 2018. They are aimed to boost the number of tourists from Uzbekistan. The cost of round trip made $340. The flights were stopped in a year. Some media reported with reference to Uzbekistan Airways the flights were stopped due to low demand and unprofitability.
