Die Allmend ist inzwischen zu einem beliebten Treffpunkt geworden für Jung und Alt. Eine Rückkehr zur leeren Wiese ist für die Stadt deshalb undenkbar: «Das Thema des generationenübergreifenden Begegnens, Spielens und Erholens soll auch nach der Ausstellung das Areal prägen», schreibt die Stadt in ihrem kürzlich veröffentlichten Kreditantrag, der nach den Sommerferien noch vom Gemeinderat behandelt werden muss.
