The Brookline Commission on Disability Did you know that… Brookline has a Commission on Disability? The mission of the Brookline Commission on Disability is to enhance the quality of life for all persons with any form of disability. We tackle obstacles on streets and sidewalks, barriers in buildings, and lack of compliance in programs, services, and activities. The Commission seeks to foster a town culture inclusive of all persons, “able” and otherwise. Brookline has an ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Coordinator? Through the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Relations, the ADA Coordinator coordinates the Town’s efforts to comply with the requirements of the ADA, investigates any complaints from town residents, and arranges for reasonable accommodations upon request.
