Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza says Pakistan is committed to peace and has contributed towards regional peace and stability.
Addressing the passing out parade of cadets of 143rd Long Course at Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul today (Saturday), he asked the world to recognize Pakistan s consistent peace overtures and take notice of the human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He said today, the entire nation stands united against terrorism and extremism.
Congratulating the passing out cadets for successful completion of training and commission into Pakistan Army, the CJCSC advised passing out cadets to keep themselves abreast with latest challenges.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza has said that the Pakistani nation stands united against terrorism and extremism and called for the world to recognize its efforts for the promotion of peace.
He said this at the passing out parade of 143rd Long Course, held at the Pakistan Military Academy on Saturday. Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza was the guest of honor at the occasion.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza visited army air defence ranges near Karachi and witnessed the firing of different air defence weapon systems, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Wednesday.
The CJCSC witnessed the firing of air defence weapon systems and surface to air missiles (SAMs), including LY-80 Missiles and FM-90 Missiles, the military s media wing said in a statement.
The firing marked the culmination of the army s air defence exercise Al-Bayza-II , said the statement.
Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu and China’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong were also present during the exercise.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza, who is on an official visit to Turkey, has called on Turkish Minister of National Defence General Retired Hulusi Akar, at Ankara.
According to ISPR, the CJCSC also had separate meeting with Commander Turkish Armed Forces and Chiefs of the tri-services General Yasar Guler. He also visited Turkish Aerospace Industries.
During the meetings, both sides deliberated upon various areas of interest, bilateral cooperation including security, counter-terrorism and prevailing regional environment particularly with reference to Afghanistan.
The two sides also dilated upon measures to enhance cooperation in the field of defence production and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen the excellent relationship.
