WASHINGTON, Jan. 12 / TASS /. US Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley made a phone call to Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov Monday, joint staff spokesman Colonel Dave Butler said in a statement.
“Milley has spoken today by phone with the Chief of the Russian General Staff General Valery Gerasimov and the Pakistani Chief of Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and in recent days with several colleagues. Topics of discussion included issues of mutual interest, including the current security environment, ”said Butler.
