NOIDA/GHAZIABAD: Covid vaccines were transported to four centres in Ghaziabad on Friday for the inaugural day inoculation drive on Saturday. About 400 healthcare workers will be vaccinated between 10am and 4pm. Similarly, in neighbouring Gautam Budh Nagar, vaccines were sent to 13 cold chains from the district vaccine store in Sector 39. From the cold chains, the vaccines will be sent to the designated six centres early on Saturday morning, where about 600 healthcare workers will receive the shots.
Though a government doctor will be deputed at each centre in both the districts to deal with any adverse effects following immunisation (AEFI) cases, Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) in Greater Noida and District Hospital in Noida Sector 30 will be the main centres to deal with any adverse cases. Sharda hospital has also kept a 30-bed ICU ready for the purpose.

Data from the ministry of corporate affairs (MCA) showed that 1.13 lakh companies were incorporated during the first nine months of the ongoing fiscal compared to 93,758 incorporations till December in FY20. The reason behind the sharp growth was the progression of smaller firms and LLPs towards forming companies as growth picked up along with improved facilitation through digital services, a senior government official said.

The pickup began as the unlock phase commenced with incorporations jumping to 10,954 in June 2020 from 4,835 a month earlier.
In a sure sign of a revival in business sentiment, company incorporations grew by 20% in the April-December period of FY21 compared to the corresponding period last year.

Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha was the chief guest at foundation stone laying ceremony. According to the Ministry of Labour and Employment, the four-storied, 100 bedded hospital will be built over an area of five acres and will provide services covering 23 specialities and three super specialities. The facility will come up at an expenditure of Rs 160 crores and is expected to be completed in the next one and a half years. Besides covering registered Insured Persons (IPs), the healthcare facilities will also be available to the general population. Speaking on the occasion, Gangwar said that ESIC has been working for the past 66 years and has a presence in over 80 per cent of the districts of the country. He said that Srinagar has around 20,000 IPs and they deserve the best healthcare as is available to their counterparts in other regions of the country.
