Convicted bank robber sentenced to 8 years, 4 months in prison

MADISON, Wis. A federal judge sentenced a man Friday to 8 years and 4 months in prison in connection with three bank robberies that happened in 2019.
In September 2019, 31-year-old Antonio Rowe robbed three Madison banks, according to a news release. Rowe pleaded guilty to the robbery charges on July 28.
Officials said Rowe robbed the BMO Harris Bank on Sherman Avenue on Sept. 10, 2019, the Associated Bank on East Towne Boulevard on Sept. 13, 2019, and the UW Credit Union on Northport Drive on Sept. 26, 2019.
After the UW Credit Union robbery, Rowe and his co-defendant Ramon Howard fled in a vehicle. Rowe, who was driving, hit multiple vehicles while driving at high speeds through residential neighborhoods. Rowe eventually crashed on East Washington Avenue before he and Howard ran off.
