Three subway stations are shutting down in Toronto this weekend
TTC riders can expect another weekend with a major subway closure.
This time around, subway service on Line 1 between Sheppard-Yonge and St. Clair stations will be adjusted.
On May 8, from start of service at 6 a.m. until noon, there will be no subway service between Sheppard-Yonge and St Clair stations due to maintenance.
Line 1: This Saturday only, subway service between Sheppard-Yonge and Lawrence stations will start at noon. There will be no subway service between Lawrence and St Clair stations all weekend due to work on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT. Shuttle buses will be running. pic.twitter.com/uUnWGW9PBF

Another weekend, another TTC subway closure to watch out for.
This time around, there will be no subway service on Line 1 between Finch and St. Clair stations on April 24 and 25 to accommodate work on the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit construction project.

The TTC will take advantage of this closure to conduct work on its Automatic Train Control signal system as well.

If you re planning an essential outing this weekend that involves taking Line 1 on the subway, be sure to take note of the fact that a portion of the line will be completely shut down.
