Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi may be back in Cairo, but his visit last week to France continues to make waves.
The Egyptian leader was welcomed in Paris with much fanfare between 6 and 8 December, with French President Emmanuel Macron heavily criticised for saying he would not condition the future sale of weapons to Egypt on human rights.

As French President Emmanuel Macron said he tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday and goes into quarantine for seven days, it means those who have been in close contact with him may have to self-isolate too.
The leaders include Portugals s Prime Minister Antonio Costa who met with Macron at the Elysee on Wednesday.
On Monday he also met with leaders to mark the 60th anniversary of the creation of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
The guest list included European Council President Charles Michel, who tested negative but is now self-isolating, and Spain s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
Earlier this month, the French leader also hosted Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
