Dubai: An Egyptian driver has been arrested after being found guilty of raping his three children, local media reported.
Once the shocking incident was reported by the National Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the Public Prosecution launched an immediate investigation and arrested the father.
The victims, a six-year-old girl, eight-year-old boy and five-year-old boy, said their father assaulted them sexually.
Upon being interrogated, the father admitted to committing the heinous crime, after being stripped of all the feelings of paternity.
Official statistics from Egypt’s Interior Ministry’s revealed that over 20,000 rapes take place every year in the country, although activists claim the real number is 10 times higher.
Abu Dhabi: An Egyptian dentist has been remanded in custody on charges of “indecent assault on men by force.”
The Public Prosecution stated on its Facebook page thatit had ordered “the detention of a dentist accused of indecent assault on men by force for four days, pending investigations.”
The prosecution added it had received a complaint from five people last September, “against a dentist for harassing them by force.”
In view of the technical evidence, the dentist was arrested on Tuesday, and the prosecution confronted him with the evidence.
The prosecution quoted the accused as saying “he suffered from a disorder of sexual orientation, and that this disorder, although it does not rob him of consciousness and awareness, has urged him to commit wrong behaviour.”

Egypt s Interior Ministry has referred 1,112 people to the public prosecution after they refused to pay the 50 Egyptian pounds ($3.19) fine for violating precautionary covid measures.
On Sunday, the government announced that anyone not wearing a mask in government offices, banks, public transport and indoor public areas would be immediately fined or prosecuted.

on condition of anonymity a prison official says despite frequent reports by international rights groups about the torment and abuse of prisoners, Egyptian authorities repeatedly deny the claims.
“Such claims are baseless and banned Muslim Brotherhood members and supporters seek to spread such rumours to destabilize public opinion,”
The deputy Middle East and North Africa director at Human Rights Watch Joe Stork says Egyptian security agencies completely deprive inmates of adequate ventilation, electricity and hot water.
“The Egyptian authorities are apparently imposing collective punishment on hundreds of inmates in Scorpion Prison, after cutting them off from the world for almost three years,”
