A severe weather warning for rain across parts of Devon and Cornwall has been extended by a further 24 hours.
The yellow warning was issued yesterday by the Exeter-based Met Office and was originally put place from 9am on Friday (February 19) to midday on Saturday.
However, the alert has been updated and extended by 24 hours to finish at midday on Sunday, February 21.
Covered by the warning is an area stretching from Exeter in the east, up to Crediton, Hatherleigh, Tavistock and Ivybridge in Devon along with Launceston inCornwall.

Snow has fallen in locations around Devon and Cornwall this morning as cold and icy conditions continue to freeze the region. Light wintry showers have been reported in Newton Ferrers and Exeter this morning (February 10), following on from similar conditions yesterday.
Meanwhile, Cornwall councillor Adrian Parson tweeted that it had started to snow at his farm while he was helping out with some lambing.
The councillor for Altarnun described it as a passing shower and nothing to get excited about .
