With so many travel plans thwarted in 2020, it’s time to start looking for holiday ideas for 2021, writes Shauna McCrudden
With the new vaccine about to be rolled out worldwide, it’s finally time for some optimism for 2021! And that’s especially the case with travel. With holidays cancelled and trips postponed, 2020 was not the start to the roaring 20s we wanted. But next year is finally the time to make some memories.
My last trip (just in February of this year!) was to the south of America, Florida. The culture, the people and food were just incredible and I can’t wait to return to visit even more of the Southern States at my own pace. That’s why I was thrilled to see a holiday package to discover the culture, Southern cuisine and hospitality of Alabama and the Deep South by taking the long-awaited RV (recreational vehicle) road trip I’ve always dreamed of.

The Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission announced Tuesday that Dr. Kimberly Robinson has been chosen executive director and CEO of the museum.
Robinson is currently NASA’s utilization manager for advanced exploration systems and was previously the payload mission manager for Artemis I, the first integrate flight test of NASA’s Orion spacecraft, the Space Launch System rocket and the Exploration Ground Systems at Kennedy Space Center.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - A new CEO is ready for lift-off at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center.
The Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission announced Dr. Kimberly Robinson as the new Executive Director and CEO of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville.
Robinson is a 31-year veteran of NASA and will begin her new role starting Feb. 15, 2021.

The U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville has a new CEO and Executive Director.
Dr. Kimberly Robinson, a 31-year veteran of NASA, will start her new role on Feb. 15, 2021.
In a news release Tuesday afternoon, the center said “Dr. Robinson brings to the position a background that includes leadership, public engagement, engineering, education, flight crew training and hands-on experience shaping the nation’s space program.”
