AUBURN Central Maine Community College has hired new employees in finance, CMCC’s Center for Workforce and Professional Development, the Building Construction Technology program and the TRIO grant.
Allie Johnson
Allie Johnson has been hired as the associate dean of Finance and General Services. Johnson comes to CMCC after seven years at CIEE in senior operations and five years at Norway Savings Bank in financial services. She holds two bachelor degrees from the University of Southern Maine and an Masters of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. Johnson also holds all Maine insurance licenses and a Maine Producer license.

Senior captains Katie Majka and Kyle Goochey capped their careers in school record fashion at the state alpine ski meet at Giants Ridge. Majka finished seventh for the girls; the previous best was 13
th by Kellie Burton. Goochey finished 20
th for the boys, the highest since the program resumed in 1989-90.

The Brainerd boys swim team won its first Section 8 title in program history. Winners were the 400 free relay of Lance Hoff, Mark Schmitz, Dave Wise and Steve Piepgras in 3:19.64; the 200 medley relay of Evan Kaneski, Hoff, Schmitz and Piepgras in a meet record 1:42.4; Hoff 21.64 in the 50 free; and Piepgras 56.98 in the 100 fly.
