The U.S. Military Academy sits at the head of Main Street in the Hudson Valley town of Highland Falls, N.Y., an ideal setting for college-town shops like quick serve restaurants. Here, Chipotle recently chose a spot yards from West Point s imposing gates as a proving ground for its digital kitchen.
It s a restaurant with no dining room or service line. Most of the dining experience takes place on an app, website or third-party order platform. And Chipotle sees this as more than a COVID line-busting concept in a high-volume location.
People can still look into the kitchen from the lobby, hear the cooks and smell the food. There s a sense of permanence. Chipotle imagines a future in which people will want the experience of a restaurant without actually having to spend 90 minutes inside.

FORT BLISS, Texas (Tribune Content Agency) Col. James Brady, a native of Las Cruces, is now Fort Bliss garrison commander.
Brady took over command from Col. Stuart James in a ceremony Thursday at the Centennial Banquet and Conference Center on base.
Fort Bliss is not new to Brady. He served at the installation after he enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves in 1992. He entered the U.S. Military Academy a year later and graduated in 1997.

Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has come under fire for his apparent embrace of “critical race theory. When questioned by Republican members of Congress about the teaching of the theory at the U.S. Military Academy, he replied that although he had to “get smarter” on critical race theory, he thought it necessary “for those of us in uniform to be open-minded and be widely read, and the United States Military Academy is a university, and it is important that we train and we understand. And I want to understand white rage and I’m white, and I want to understand it.”

ANNAPOLIS, MD A run through Annapolis will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The event will also honor the 14 U.S. Naval Academy graduates who died that day.
The deceased graduates ranged from the Classes of 1952 to 1998. Some were lieutenants and others were rear admirals. Some were retired and others were still serving. There is no better way to honor their memory than by gathering together in Annapolis to show our appreciation, Race Director Natanya Levioff said in a press release, noting that the event will also honor all the men and women who fight for our freedom and serve our communities and our country each day.

How to Be an Antiracist,
The New Jim Crow,
Sexual Minorities and Politics, and
Fed Up: Emotional Labor, Women, and the Way Forward. Kendi’s book in particular has garnered significant controversy, with many of its ideas spreading from college campuses to public health institutions and public sector unions.
As you may recall, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley was recently questioned on such a thing.
