Good riddance, 2020. Here’s what I’m looking forward to in 2021 (opinion)

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Thank God that 2020 is over, right? We’ve all had enough of the cursed year that brought coronavirus into our lives.

That doesn’t mean that I don’t take the deadly global pandemic seriously. I do. I know we have an ongoing situation on our hands.

U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) began administering its initial doses of a COVID-19 vaccine Tuesday to health care workers, first responders, and its command team, including Gen. Robert Abrams, officials said.
The first shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine arrived in South Korea on Friday and had been in cold storage at Camp Carroll in the southeastern county of Chilgok before being distributed to USFK s three military treatment facilities Monday, according to the U.S. military.

The United States has started vaccinating its troops based in South Korea, as its Asian ally reported its highest daily COVID-19 fatalities amid surging cases in the country.
The United States Forces Korea says in a statement it started inoculating military and civilian health-care workers, first responders and the USFK command team with the Moderna vaccine on Tuesday.
