The air show flight performances are scheduled for 11:15 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels set to go up at 2:15 p.m. on both days.

May 6 (UPI) The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are slated to headline the 2021 Fort Lauderdale Air Show in Florida Friday and Saturday.
The Navy s legacy Hornets, which were a staple of air shows for 34 years, were retired last fall in favor of new twin-engine F/A-18 Super Hornets that are faster, sleeker and pack 40% more power, Air Show president Bryan Lilley told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Fort Lauderdale fired up for Air Show after rousing practice day
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are back and will be soaring over the beach Saturday and Sunday as part of the Fort Lauderdale Air Show.
The Blue Angels’ performance will be one of their first in the F-18 Super Hornet aircraft, which they have transitioned to from the legacy Hornet, an aircraft they have flown for three decades.
