Two of Grenada’s top sporting icons, charged in connection with the 2015 viral US Visa scam in Grenada, can now breathe a sigh of relief having escaped the walls of the prison.
The two men, former Technical Director of the Grenada Football Association, now fitness instructor, Lester Smith and former basketball coach and founder of the Young Generation Basket Ball Club Nigel German McKie both had two years suspended sentence delivered to them by High Court Judge Victoria Charles Clark, at the Number Two Supreme Court on Monday this week, after they both pleaded guilty to a number of the charges.
