Joint Statement on the Announcement of the Central Asia Investment Partnership
The text of the following statement was released by the Governments of the United States of America, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Today the Governments of the United States of America, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan are announcing the launch of the Central Asia Investment Partnership. The participants welcome other countries to join this initiative to promote regional economic partnership and prosperity.
Through this initiative, the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), Astana International Financial Centre, acting in the interests of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan will make all possible efforts to raise at least $1 billion over five years to support projects that advance private-sector led growth an
