The Back the Blue and Blue Lives Matter allow institutional and systemic racism under a veil of “law and order”, but at the end of the day it’s a bunch of folks who want rules for others “not like them” and they can’t have law and order stop their overturning of an election.

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Patriot has named Donald M. Itzkoff to the newly created position of Chief Policy Officer. He will lead strategic policy engagement for Patriot Rail Company LLC and Patriot Port Holdings LLC, a U.S. operator of short line and regional railroads, rail services and integrated port logistics companies.

Railway Age Contributing Editor, most recently headed Global Government Affairs for Wabtec Corp., and earlier led U.S. Government Affairs for GE Transportation. He has also served as Deputy Administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration and as Senior Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. The recent Netflix documentary, The Social Dilemma, may have highlighted to many Americans just what happens to the wealth of personal information they regularly – and willingly – share online. It may be especially concerning, then, to know that companies in the United States aren’t required by federal law to protect this information.
The outcome of the Presidential election may be about to change this, however. It’s widely anticipated that the question of data privacy will be a significant priority for the Biden Administration. The issue has been largely overlooked under President Trump, but with many other countries enforcing GDPR-type regulations, it’s time the US acknowledged the real importance of protecting its citizens’ personal information.
