EMERYVILLE, Calif., May 12, 2021 /PRNewswire/ MobiTV, Inc. ( MobiTV ) today announced that TiVo Corporation ( TiVo ), a wholly owned subsidiary of Xperi Holding Corporation, has been selected as the winning bid in its court-supervised auction and will acquire substantially all of MobiTV s assets. TiVo s bid was valued at $18.5 million in a combination of cash and certain assumed liabilities. The transaction is subject to Bankruptcy Court approval, as well as regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

CHARLESTON – A New York bankruptcy court order is allowing more than 270 additional claims to be filed on behalf of West Virginia children suffering from Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome.
Last month, federal bankruptcy Judge Robert D. Drain issued an order in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York in Purdue Pharma’s bankruptcy case that allows the filing of 272 NAS claimant proofs of claim.

FLINT, MI Flint water prosecutors improperly released thousands of confidential documents related to mediation over the city of Detroit’s 2013 bankruptcy, attorneys for former Gov. Rick Snyder say.
In a motion filed in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Detroit on Wednesday, May 12, attorneys from Warner Norcross and Judd asked for an evidentiary hearing and an order holding the Michigan Office of Attorney General and the individuals responsible for “this improper release of information in contempt of the Bankruptcy Court’s mediation and confidentiality orders.”
