Mr. Doug Parker to serve as Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA). Mr. Parker currently serves as chief of California’s Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA). William M. Clos, 43
William M. “Bill” Clos, an attorney with Harvey Kruse in Troy, died March 3 after a lengthy hospital stay due to problems from a surgical procedure. He was 43.
Mr. Clos was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and the Michigan State College of Law.
Mr. Clos is survived by his children Maria, William and David; his dear and loving friend, Sarah Stout Clos; his parents; two brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

Adele Maire Gagliardi, an attorney who was serving as administrator of the Office of Policy Development and Research within the U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration, died Feb. 3. She was 45.
