Authorities inspected Castro s belongings and found a plastic bag with tacos and chips. Castro claimed the food was his lunch, the release noted.  Upon further investigation, his lunch tested positive for meth after a K-9 alerted the presence of narcotics within the bag. Castro pleaded guilty on November 30, 2020. The release states he was going to be paid $1,500 to transport the kilogram to Austin.
