We miss them dreadfully but we are not ready to welcome another canine friend into our lives just yet. We are so upset about the numbers of dogs bought in the first lockdown without any serious thought about what owning a dog is all about. It s a complete change of lifestyle and they are a tie. I think there are going to be so many dogs put into rescue centres or sold online to unscrupulous people as the realisation sinks in about what it means – most of these dogs are also going to have problems as they haven t been properly socialised or trained.
