I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Yesterday was beautiful and the nice weather is forecast to continue today. We are starting off this morning dry and cool with temperatures mostly in the mid to upper 40s with a few spots in the lower 50s. You might want to grab a jacket before you walk out the door this morning. You won’t need it by this afternoon. First Alert AccuTrack Radar and Satellite is showing us mostly clear and dry. Plenty of clear conditions across the Southeast. It should be a beautiful day to be outside. Temperatures are forecast to climb into the mid 70s by noon. We’ll see highs today in the lower 80s with a mostly sunny sky. Plan for westerly winds today at 5-10 mph with gusts near 15 mph.

We hope you had a wonderful weekend. The weather was picture perfect. The amazing weather should continue again this afternoon. Temperatures this morning are a little warmer than previous mornings with most of us in the 40s. Cool spots are in northeast Alabama where temperatures have dropped into the upper 30s and lower 40s. First Alert AccuTrack Radar and Satellite continues to show us dry with a cloudless sky across a good bit of the Southeast. We have a few clouds off to our west that could move into our area late this evening or tonight, but we should see plenty of sunshine and blue sky today. (WBRC) - Happy Thursday! We begin April Fools’ Day with temperatures that seem like a joke for this time of the year. We are waking up with most of us in the 30s. Temperatures are nearly 10-15 degrees below average to start out the month. Make sure you dress warmly today because it will feel more like a January day. Temperatures are nearly 25-30 degrees colder now compared to this time yesterday. First Alert AccuTrack is showing a clear sky. The cold front that moved through yesterday is out of here and bringing us plenty of cold air across the Southeast. The big story today will be the wind. A wind advisory has been issued for all of Central Alabama from 9 AM to 6 PM today. Plan for sustained northwest winds at 15-25 mph with wind gusts around 35 mph.
