Have you ever wondered what it would be like to drive Going To The Sun road, WITHOUT TRAFFIC? I can count on both hands how many times I have driven the road, and it has always been clogged with traffic. Not to mention the traffic jams that are caused by the mountain goats.
Glacier Park just recently announced a way to limit the amount of traffic on the scenic highway. Vehicles will now need reservations to drive the Going to the Sun Road.
Day-use visitors who arrive by private vehicle or motorcycle must have an Entry Reservation Ticket and a current park pass when entering the park through the West and St. Mary Entrances, or via the Camas Road, between 6 am and 5 pm from May 28 to September 6, 2021. Please be prepared to show your reservation confirmation and photo ID at park entrance stations upon arrival.

The Way We Treat the Elderly in This Country is Awful
It s sad that when our parents become older and need help caring for themselves. We farm them out to a senior care facility and let them handle it. My mom is there now and she never complains much but the food is awful. People pay $7,000 to $10,000 a month and the food is rotten. I would be willing to bet the food in our prisons is better than the food at some long-term care facilities. For people in their 90s and up, they were raised never to waste anything and don t complain, to be thankful you have food on the table. If the rest of us had to deal with that every day there would be hell to play. For these people, it s the high point of the day.
2.5 Million Montana Cows Agree: May is Beef Month
Okay, so maybe the cows don t entirely agree that Beef Month is awesome, considering their final destiny is to end up in a meat department somewhere. Do I do feel just a teensy bit sad that they give their lives so we have something awesome to eat? Of course. Like most of us, I have compassion and respect for living creatures. I ll also be the first to tell you how much I
really enjoy beef. If I could afford to eat a perfectly prepared New York strip or ribeye every night, I probably would.
Samantha Bee Breaks Down Just How Crazy America’s Gun Laws Are William Vaillancourt
As mass shootings in the U.S. return to their disturbing pre-COVID frequency,
Full Frontal with Samantha Bee aired a special episode on Wednesday about gun violence, why it has become the norm in this country, and how to put an end to it.
Bee began “Full Frontal Wants to Take Your Guns” by noting some statistics that by now shouldn’t be surprising: that Americans have 40% of the world’s privately-owned guns despite making up only 4% of the global population, that there are more guns than people in the U.S., and that the number of gun murders nationally far surpasses that of other developed countries.
