SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – On Thursday, Girl Scouts-Dakota Horizons congratulated Bethany Schaefer of Sturgis, SD for earning the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award to be achieved in Girl Scouts.
Bethany Schaefer, Sturgis, has been selected to receive the highest honor presented by the Girl Scouts organization.
Bethany earned her Gold Award with her
Epilepsy Awareness Project which resulted in the creation of informational videos posted to YouTube. She invested 41 hours over the span of three months to research, write scripts, record and post the videos.
