SJ residents dump old medications safely as part of 20th annual Take Back Day The Stockton Record © CLIFFORD OTO/THE STOCKTON RECORD (4/24/21) University of the Pacific pharmacy student Shaneisa Mae Nalias places prescription drugs into a bin as a part of a local observance of 20th annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at the Stockton Police Operations Building in downtown Stockton. The event was an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by providing a place for the public to drop off old or unused and unwanted prescription drugs. In addition to the downtown Stockton location, 3 additional drop off sites were available: Lincoln Center in Stockton, the Lathrop Senior Center and the Financial Services Parking lot in Lodi. Milwaukee drive-thru collects pills for Drug Take Back Day Pills pile up at Johnsons Park Drug Take Back Day drive-thru The Milwaukee County Sheriff s Office and other organizations held a drive-thru Drug Take Back Day event at Milwaukee s Johnsons Park. MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee s Johnsons Park saw a big turnout Saturday, April 24 for Drug Take Back Day. The Milwaukee County Sheriff s Office organized the drive-thru, partnering with the Milwaukee Police Department and Safe & Sound. Normally we will host it at our substation, which COVID kind of forced us to come out and do it outside, said Kristine Rodriguez with Milwaukee County Sheriff s Office communications.
