Article content The COVID-19 pandemic has devastated much of the world we know and continues to do so. Despite this, many of us have developed a stronger appetite for better connections with our neighbours. The Participatory Edmonton Symposium on March 6 and 13, presented by the City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues (EFCL), is an opportunity for us to gather, learn, share, and inspire one another to animate our neighbourhoods and communities. Edmonton is a city that comes together to get things done and has always done so. We have a strong connection to one another and this can be seen in the 100-year-old community league movement. It is not uncommon for citizens to come together and take matters into their own hands.
