The Board of Control for Cricket in India is looking at a curtailed domestic season from February and it s likely to be held in the same six bio-bubbles that have been created for the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

KARACHI, Pakistan – Chris Gayle headlines a plethora of West Indies stars confirmed for next weekend’s draft of the Pakistan Super League.
The 41-year-old Gayle, along with veteran all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, former Twenty20 captain Carlos Brathwaite and openers Lendl Simmons and Evin Lewis, were among 25 foreign players announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board yesterday.
Barbados-born England all-rounder Chris Jordan is among the foreign players indicating his participation in the sixth edition of the showpiece set to run from February 20 to March 22.
Gayle, the most successful T20 batsman ever with 13 584 runs and 22 hundreds from 411 matches, has been installed in the platinum category along with his West Indies counterparts and the likes of Afghan superstar leg-spinner Rashid Khan and South Africa fast bowler Dayle Steyn.
We thought it would be right to comment on India’s 36 all out second innings total against Australia only after 36 hours had elapsed post the cataclysmic event in Adelaide on Saturday. After all, apart from the media here social and ‘anti-social’ berating and lampooning Virat Kohli’s side for notching up India’s worst Test total ever, Sunil Gavaskar may also be secretly pleased for his notorious 36 runs, unbeaten (!) off 174 balls in the 1975 World Cup ODI against England now being eclipsed in the latest 20.1 overs Aussie culling.
The point is, the double-scything action of Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins was more devastating than India’s devastated performance.
