In a Facebook post on Saturday morning, Arsenio Evangelista, president of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC), shared the statement of Jimenez’s family regarding their patriarch’s passing.
“With deep sorrow, the Family announces the passing away of Dante La. Jimenez, PACC Chairman due to Aortic Aneurysm at 9:43 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2021,” the post read.
“We ask for your prayers for the eternal repose of a man who devoted his life in the crusade against crime and corruption and for good governance,” it added.
“We will miss him so dearly. May he rest in peace,” it furthered.
“With deep sorrow, the Family announces the passing away of Dante La. Jimenez, PACC Chairman due to Aortic Aneurysm at 9:43 pm, Friday, January 29, 2021,” the family said in a statement on Saturday.

“It’s 2021 and the trolls are still recycling lies (facepalm emoji). The picture was taken in March 2016. The slippers were given away by Mayor Joy Belmonte at her birthday event, in support of our VP bid,” Robredo said in a Twitter post.
