HAVAL H6 SUV Comes to Pakistan
Pakistan’s crossover SUV segment has had substantial growth over the last few years. It had been almost non-existent until early 2018, with the exception of a few imported vehicles, but is now more populous than any other local automotive segment.
Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SEWL) also aims to have its presence felt in the segment through the launch of two new SUVs in Pakistan, the Haval Jolion and the H6. The H6 test unit has arrived in Pakistani after the introduction of the Jolion test unit here.
Much like the Jolion, the Haval H6 is a compact crossover SUV that will compete in the highly competitive local crossover market. The test unit is a 3rd generation H6 SUV that had been debuted in China in mid-2020.
SEOUL: South Korea s Hyundai Motor Co said on Tuesday it will launch its premium brand Genesis in Europe this summer, debuting its flagship sedan and sports utility vehicle (SUV) in one of the world s fastest growing electric vehicle markets. Genesis, which launched as Hyundai s standalone luxury division in 2015 to compete with premium brands like BMW, Mercedes and Lexus, said it will sell both conventional and electric models in the region. The Electrified G80 will be the first all-electric Genesis to arrive in Europe. A further two battery electric cars will follow, providing European customers with a choice of three Genesis zero-emission cars within the first year, Genesis Motor Europe said in a statement.

Haulage company, Vertex Mission Sdn Bhd, which is based in Klang, Selangor is planning to expand its fleet by adding more HINO trucks. It had recently taken delivery of 5 HINO 700 Series prime movers from Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. These 5 are the 700 Series SH1EERA with automated manual transmission (AMT).
Subsequent to this delivery, Vertex Mission is looking forward to adding more HINO trucks to its fleet. It is already in discussion for the purchase of the next batch which will likely be delivered in Q3 this year.

Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) has added a new Executive variant to the line-up of its seventh-generation Hyundai Elantra. The Elantra Executive is priced at RM139,888 (on the road without insurance in Peninsular Malaysia) and offer consumers a lower priced option to complement the Elantra Premium. Like the Premium variant, the Executive is also an imported unit from South Korea.
