Two brothers gunned down on flyover Double murder likely to be motivated by personal enmity, says SSP File KARACHI: Two brothers were gunned down on the FTC Flyover on Monday morning reportedly in an attack motivated by personal enmity. According to South SSP Zubair Nazeer Shaikh, the brothers, identified as Syed Abid Hussain Shah, 50, and Syed Sajid Hussain Shah, 52, were on a motorcycle and were returning from a hearing at the Karachi city court when they were attacked. The brothers were shot dead by unidentified assailants, who were also on a motorcycle when they opened fire at the deceased. Both the brothers died on the spot and their bodies were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.

Five motorcycle thieves arrested

Karachi December 24, 2020 The Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) of the Karachi police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested five motorcycle thieves. The suspects were arrested in separate raids carried out in Gadap and Saddar. According to a spokesperson for the AVLC, six motorcycles and two chassis were also recovered from their possession. Mureed Hussain, Abdul Hameed, Asghar, Salman and Shariat alias Sherry were involved in various street crime cases and robberies. The suspects had been arrested for the first time by the AVLC; hence, no earlier record was found. A case has been registered while an investigation is under way.
